Health4Heroes Board Members’ Legal Responsibility
As a member of the Board of Directors of Health4Heroes, I have a legal and ethical responsibility to ensure that the organization does the best work possible in pursuit of its goals.
I understand that as a Board Member, I have a duty of loyalty and obedience. I support Health4Heroes mission and pledge my commitment in carrying out the Health4Heroes mission, and will consistently act responsibly and prudently.
I understand that my legal, fiscal and moral responsibility requires me to:
Maintain attendance at 75% of all monthly Board meetings (nine of 12 annually).
Actively participate in one or more committees (e.g., Fundraising Committee; Budget & Finance Committee).
Uphold my commitment to serve the Board for six hours per month, broken out as follows: 90 minute Board meeting, 90 minute committee meeting, and three hours completing Board tasks and actively representing Health4Heroes as a spokesperson in the community where I promote the mission, vision and funding goals of Health4Heroes.
Provide a personal monetary contribution to Health4Heroes. This may be given as a one-time donation each year, or in mutually agreed installments during the course of the year. I agree to donate $________ per year, an amount I consider generous.
Inform the Board should there come a time where I am no longer able to fulfill my obligations to the organization as a Board Member, and resign my position in accordance with the organization’s bylaws.
Seeking skilled professional with a passion for serving our community of Veterans and First Responders. Qualified applicants will have business experience, a professional network of resources to contribute, basic computer skills, excellent communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft and Google software platforms.
